The two sessions are in full swing, and China is currently doing its best to deal with air pollution, especially: "carbon neutrality". The most important cause of air pollution is vehicle exhaust emissions, so China currently fully supports the research and development of new energy vehicles. However, there are two main factors limiting the promotion of new energy vehicle research and development: first, the driving distance problem; The second is the issue of charging new energy vehicles. In other words, who can solve the problem of charging new energy vehicles, who is standing above the tuyere. Speaking of the charging pile, there is a component that has to be said, that is, "cable", today Xiaobian will analyze some key knowledge points of the charging pile cable, and teach you how to choose a good charging pile cable.
A good charging pile cable needs to have the following standards:
1. Conductor part:
(1) Number of cores: 2 cores, 3 cores, 4 cores, 5 cores with or without signal control lines. (Note: Conductors belong to EN60228 specification Class 6 conductors.)
(2) The conductor surface is tinned or not tinned.
(3) Recommended wire section specifications: 0,5mm², 1 mm², 1,5 mm², 2,5 mm², 4 mm², 6mm ², 10 mm², 16mm2.
2. Isolation layer:
The charging pile cable standard allows the use of suitable and appropriate materials as isolation layers to wrap conductors.
3. Insulation:
(1) The conductor must be covered with the specified insulating material, and materials other than those specified in the standard must not be used.
(2) The insulation must be extruded and must be solid and uniform. The insulation layer must be removed without damaging the insulation itself and the conductor or the possible tin coating mentioned earlier.
(3) The value of insulation thickness must meet the specified standard value. And the average insulation thickness can not be less than the specified value, the thickness of the thinnest insulation should not be less than 90% of the specified value.
4. Core wire and filling:
(1) The core wires must be twisted.
(2) According to the charging pile cable standard, the charging pile cable is allowed to use center packing.
5. Inner cover:
(1) The stranded core wire must be covered by an inner sheath made of the same material as the outer sheath or insulation.
(2) The inner sheath must be extruded on the insulated core wire to allow the gap between the embedded insulated core to form an actual circle.
(3) No harmful negative effects can be produced between the inner sheath and the insulation.
(4) The inner sheath can not adhere to the insulation core wire.
(5) The thickness of the inner sheath must meet the specified thickness of the standard.
6. Block:
(1) A shield braided with bare copper wire or tinned copper wire shall be covered above the inner sheath.
(2) The nominal diameter of the copper wire can meet the given value of the charging pile cable standard.
(3) The total number of twists, twists and angles, and filling coefficient of the shielding length within 100mm need to fully meet the requirements of the standard
7. Sheath or outer sheath:
(1) The shielding or stranded core must be covered with the specified sheath material.
(2) The outer sheath must be a single layer of extruded sheath, and must be closely compatible with each other, but can not be adhered to each other with the shield and core wire.
(3) The specified value of the sheath thickness must comply with the provisions of the standard.
(4) The average thickness of the sheath should not be less than the specified value of the charging pile cable standard, and the thickness of the weakest place of the sheath should not be less than 85% of the specified value.
How to calculate the size of the cable to use the charging pile
1, the charging pile is divided into single-phase and three-phase, whether dual-phase or single-phase, the first to convert to the AC line current.
(1) For single-phase charging pile (AC charging pile) I=P/U
(2) For three-phase charging pile (DC charging pile) I=P/(U*1.732)
After calculating the current in this way, select the cable according to the current size.
2, cable selection can be related to manuals or procedures such as:
(1) Single-phase charging pile is generally 7KW (AC charging pile) I=P/U=7000/220=32A A copper core cable of 4 square millimeters should be used.
(2) Three-phase charging pile (DC pile)
15KW current 23A cable 4 mm square
30KW current 46A cable 10 mm square
60KW current 92A cable 25 sq mm
90KW current 120A cable 35 mm square
All charging piles should have zero line and ground line. Therefore, the single-phase cable should be three-core, and the three-phase cable should be five-core.
Note on the use of charging pile cable:
1, regularly check the circuit insulation performance
Under normal circumstances, good quality charging pile cable has a good insulation effect, but the charging pressure working in the open environment for a long time will inevitably appear wear, in order to ensure the safe and normal use of the charging pile, we should regularly check the charging pile cable, switch and socket and other cables and wires are leaked, only in this way to ensure the safety and durability of the charging pile cable.
2. Keep away from water sources and humid locations
Although the charging pile cable has a waterproof function, there are still some hidden dangers in long-term work in a humid environment. Therefore, when installing the charging pile cable, it should be away from the water source to avoid the short circuit problem caused by the charging pile cable due to moisture. When using mobile charging pile cables, try to choose dry, flat ground, so as to ensure the safe use of charging pile cables.
3, avoid excess load
Nowadays, the domestic professional charging pile cable has a number of different power sockets, which can achieve the requirements of charging electric vehicles with different power. However, it should be noted that the same charging pile can not use multiple electrical appliances with excessive power at the same time to avoid damage to the charging pile cable due to excessive load.
