December 26 news, the National Energy Administration recently organized a key meeting in Shenzhen, focusing on promoting the construction and development of high-quality charging infrastructure system.
The latest data disclosed at the meeting shows that as of the end of November, the country has built 12.352 million charging piles, an increase of 50% year-on-year.
It is particularly worth mentioning that the expressway service area, as an important charging node for long-distance driving, has installed 33,100 charging piles, achieving extensive coverage of all provinces in the mainland (excluding Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan), which greatly alleviates the range anxiety of electric owners.
Looking ahead, the meeting stressed the importance of promoting the construction of a high-quality charging infrastructure system.
Specific measures include building a balanced and convenient charging network, improving the quality of supply to create a healthy industrial ecology, and ensuring the safety bottom line through the establishment of a controllable safety management system.
