Can 220v DC be used with AC appliances?

January 13, 2025

You can't. If AC devices are connected to DC power supplies, most of them will burn down the devices. Dc equipment connected to the AC power supply, most will not burn, but generally can not work normally. Some simple resistance equipment, such as light bulbs, electric furnaces, electric soldering irons, etc., can be mixed. Input transformer equipment, direct current, will burn quickly. Input rectifier equipment, connected to direct current, generally will not damage the equipment, but may not work normally.
